Vegans rejoice! The perfect beverage is waiting for you at COYA Abu Dhabi.
The venue is holding events in honour of National Pisco Sour Day which celebrates pisco, the white brandy made in Peru from Muscat grapes. Held on the first Saturday in February the day pays homage to the Pisco Sour cocktail’s roots back to the sixteenth century and its numerous variations since.
COYA Abu Dhabi, the capital’s favourite Peruvian venue will be celebrating all things Pisco on Saturday 1st February, with masterclasses, special editions of their famous Pisco Sour and prizes through the social media platforms.
If you fancy yourself as an inspired bartender, COYA Abu Dhabi will be hosting an interactive Pisco Sour and Ceviche Masterclass from 12.30-2.30pm on Saturday 1st February. You can try your hand at creating your unique flavour of Pisco Sour, while learning all the tricks of the trade from the experienced bar team.
Of course, with all the tasting and trialling of the perfect Pisco Sour, you’ll need something to eat, so the culinary team will be showing you how to make the perfect ceviche to accompany your drink.
From 6.30pm-8.30pm, Pisco Bar & Lounge will also host a special edition of Sunset Treat, where you can drink Pisco sours for two hours in a variety of flavours including, banana and tonka bean, passion fruit and mango and chilli. There will also be vegan options available on the day so nobody misses out! (Vegan versions include: COYA Blend Pisco, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup, Methylcellulose powder - Gelling agent to create airy texture, it’s a powdered gelling agent derived from plant cellulose, and angostura bitter.
Pisco Bar and & Lounge will also come alive with Latin American sounds from the resident DJ who will be spinning tracks from 6.30pm into the early morning.
