From karting and water sports, to horseback riding and archery, Al Forsan International Sports Resort is the only resort of its kind in the region to have a range of advanced sports and entertainment facilities, as well as world-class training services for all different ages.
This summer you can try sports and activities at the 1.6million sqm venue with 25% off, alongside 20% off in their dining venues, until 31st August! Here is a quick roundup of what you can get involved in at the resort.
Karting
The resort features a 1.2km CIK approved track and anyone 8 years and above can race around the circuit both competitively and non competitively.
Water Sports
Featuring the first water cable system park in the Middle East, the resorted has erected a huge overhead cable around the banks of purpose-built ‘pro’ and ‘beginner’ lakes which pulls participants around the lake on their chosen board or ski (wakeboard, wake skate, knee boards, mono ski or water ski) at a speed of 29 to 38kph!
The cable system can accommodate multiple riders at a time (13 per minute), providing the participants more action and less waiting time.
Equestrian
Students of all ages and skill levels are trained in the Equestrian Academy in a wide range of disciplines such as, Show Jumping, Dressage and Vaulting by BHS qualified instructors.
If you want to learn how to ride horses, the Al Forsan Equestrian Academy’s team of BHS qualified and experienced instructors teach students of all ages and levels and the also have the options to choose from group, private or ladies only classes.
If you or your little ones just enjoy spending time with horses, the resort offers lots of fun and educational activities like, morning hack, pony games, dressage clinics, show jumping clinics, stable managements courses, pony club.
Paint balling
Fancy a challenge that's exciting, totally extreme and can be played in any season? Paint balling might be the thing for you.
The adrenaline packed sport encourages a whole range of skills such as team work and problem solving and is played in enclosed, state of the art, air domes. No expense has been spared to bring fully climate controlled conditions, ensuring that even in the middle of the UAE summer, players can run and hide in comfort. The themed paintball field also has special effects lighting and the tournament field is fully floodlit, allowing adrenaline pumping action long into the night.
Shooting
Al Forsan International Sports Resort caters to the most professional shooter to the "never fired a shot" beginner.
From laser simulators to sporting clays and rifle ranges, the resort offers a range of different options including archery which features 10 lanes offering 5m to 60m distances, re-curve and compound bows. All Tabs, Arm Guards and Releases are also supplied.
Recreation
Alongside the exhilarating activities on offer, the resort features other recreation facilities including an all weather football pitch, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court along side fully air conditioned changing and showering facilities with lockers.
Fitness
If you are a fitness enthusiast, you can also make the most of the state-of-the-art gym, steam rooms and saunas, swimming pool with pool cafe, active wellness programmes and personal trainers.
Dining
The resort offers five casual dining restaurants across the resort including, Como, an all day dining restaurant, cafes and snack bars at the pool and Equestrian lounge and Kishi, which serves asian cuisine. Until 31st August 2019, diners will receive 20% off food and beverages.
Summer Camp
If you've got little ones that are bored this holiday, the summer camp at Al Forsan Sports Resort offers lots of different activities for boys and girls. The camp prides itself on helping to develop the abilities and skills of the younger generation, while helping them make the best use of their time by engaging in useful activities that promote physical and mental well-being. The resort has taken additional measures to welcome children with special needs and allow them to join the Kids Summer Camp.
This summer, the camp is offering a variety of events and activities including aerobics, zumba, ballet, arts and crafts, culinary arts, basketball, volleyball, football, chess, equestrian, relay and American football, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, swimming and team games, for all children between the ages of 4 and 14 years.
The camp runs until 22nd August 2019 and prices are on enquiry.
